In all the noise about the desktop, this gem is missed.

This is major. The end of Linux is nearer than I had expected. The insufferably arrogant Linux Loons are soon going to be history.
In retrospect, this is probably why Martin Taylor is no longer with Microsoft. They probably figure they don't need any Linux strategy anymore.
